The other day was my first visit to Blue Hook. I wasn't expecting much because the reviews I read awhile back when they first opened were far from stellar. But let me just say I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a basic seafood boil that consisted of shrimp and sausage along with a boiled egg and a potato. From what's on my plate, it doesn't look like much but in reality it was really filling. They offer a number of sauces which I went with a Cajun type one. It was pretty basic and mild. But that doesn't mean it lacked flavor. The shrimp you had to peel and the sausage was actually pretty decent. Anyways, all in all, I really enjoyed what I received and I wouldn't mind coming back someday and trying something else.

Blue Hook is hands-down one of the best places I’ve visited. The atmosphere is clean, comfortable, and really well set up. The staff is super friendly, helpful, and they clearly care about making sure every customer has a great time. The service is fast, the quality is consistent, and everything I tried exceeded expectations. Whether you’re going for the experience, the vibe, or the customer service, Blue Hook delivers on all fronts. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a place that feels professional, enjoyable, and worth every visit. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I was in there about 3pm so not to many others there. My server along with hottest were friendly and good people. I got catfish and shrimp. My only complaint was out 4 pics of fish only one had some thickness to it. That one was very good. Different style of bread but very good. The other 3 I couldn't taste the fish only breading. Food was hot and tasty. Minus the complaint on fish. Service was good. Price decent. Would recommend.
My daughter selected this place for her birthday. It was the first for me, and it was absolutely wonderful. The host seated us. The waitress was wonderful with getting out drinks and cubing us time to order. We had a nice size party. Appetizers came out quickly, and the food followed. Everything was great. I can't really do spicy and Cajun, it's in the title, but the hostess recommended the sauce and that I do mild, so I would get all of the flavor but not the spice and she was spot one. I enjoyed the method of eating with my hands. The place was spacious and inviting, and everyone was friendly. I will definitely be coming back. 10/10
The seafood boil was excellent — fresh shrimp and crab, generous portions, and the seasoning was spot on. Their special sauce has an outstanding and unique flavor that really stands out and made the whole meal unforgettable. The service was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was clean with a relaxed atmosphere. I’ll definitely be returning. Highly recommended!
Shrimp crab boil very good, more than enough for one person. Didn't care for the jalapeno poppers?, calamari perfect
Food was great but not Cajun enough for me. Would recommend. Would also be nice if they included sausage in all the servings of crawfish and shrimp. Crawfish were a good size
I love $1 each fresh bluepoints oysters as well as the fresh crayfish here. Awesome taste and kindly serves & cozy environment. Everything is just perfect .
